SVI_MGC Deployed in a Distributed Network Architecture

The SVI_MGC allows carriers to deploy a fully distributed network architecture – with Signalling/Media Gateways deployed at remote POPs backhauling SS7 signalling over SIGTRAN M2UA/M3UA into a centralised MGC.

This provides centralised routing capabilities, centralised billing and can allow carriers to present a single SS7 point code to all their SS7 POPs.
