SVi_SG SS7 Signalling Gateway
The SVI_SG SS7 Signalling Gateway provides interconnect between ss7 networks and ip networks enabling carriers to leverage the benefits of under-utilised and lower cost IP bandwidth

With low cost, reliable, high bandwidth IP networks available for distribution of signalling equipment, the SVI_SG SS7 Signalling Gateway provides the means to bridge the SS7 network from the traditional PSTN and Mobile TDM interconnects to IP.
Signalling Gateway
The SVI_SG provides an SS7 signalling gateway environment backhauling TDM SS7 information using international standards of SIGTRAN and SIP. This allows for the SVI_SG Signalling Gateway to provide SS7 signalling information over IP to either terminate with in a VoIP environment or allow for the transport between distributed and disparate SS7 networks over IP.

SIGTRAN Support
The SIGTRAN protocol range allows for the backhaul of SS7 signalling over IP using the IETF standards allows the SVI_SG SS7 Signalling Gateway to be compliant and ready to interconnect into any other SIGTRAN compliance environment. The SVI_SG provides a full range of adaption layers (M2UA, M3UA and SUA) allowing for different layers of the SS7 protocol to be presented into the IP environment depending on the infrastructure requirement.
SIP-I/ SIP-T Support
The ITU and IETF specifications also provide means of back hauling SS7 signalling using standard SIP extensions. With the increasing support of SIP capability on third party equipment, the use of SIP over more traditional methods of SS7 backhaul is becoming ever popular.
Operation
The SVI_SG SS7 Signalling Gateway provides a fully unmanaged interconnect with onboard self managing software ensuring continuous uptime of the SS7 interconnect. With additional key support features including remote real time configuration, alarming, and protocol tracing along with Squire Technologies proven SS7 support and installation services, the SVI_SG provides an excellent choice for companies needing to bridge the SS7 gap.
