Leading Edge GMSC

Historically the Gateway Mobile Switching Centre or GMSC is the entity in 3G mobile networks responsible for obtaining the location of a subscriber so that calls from other external networks can be delivered correctly. It does this by interconnecting to key components in the network such as the HLR and HSS, Billing and OCS platforms, IN/SCP, and Number Portability databases etc.

The SVI-GMSC provides greater functionality at a far lower cost than traditional GMSCs. This NFV-compliant, carrier-grade product provides a high degree of flexibility to MVNOs.
